ANOUNCEMENTS: Good news and bad news…but mostly good

First, (a little) bad news:  I’m going to have to delay the book release by about a month.  I know, I’m not too happy about it either (kawawa!), but I’m still finishing things up and making sure I put out a quality book for you guys.  Also, my focus has momentarily been redirected, which brings me to the good news…

GOOD NEWS:  Yours truly will be putting up a food booth at this upcoming OC Night Market!  That’s right, you’ll be able to find some of my friends and me in a Boy In The Kitchen booth serving Filipino food at the OC Night Market August 26th- 28th.

If you’re in the Southern California area, you may already be in the know, but for those unfamiliar, the OC Night Market (produced by the 626 Night Market) is a weekend festival event featuring hundreds of food vendors, merchandise vendors, art, and live entertainment.

This is going to be the last OC Night Market of the summer, so you’re gonna want to check it out!  For more info on the event itself, visit ocnightmarket.com.

As for what dishes you can find at the Boy In The Kitchen booth, it’s a secret…for now!  You’ll have to stay tuned for the big reveal within the next week or so, but you can expect a simple menu featuring some familiar Filipino flavors served up in a modern, Kuya Boy style.
